The Wave Grows, Country by Country
A few days ago, FreeWillWave was still just an idea carried by one person.
Today, we are already 27 Free Humans spread across 10 countries.
We are still few in the grand scheme of the world. But something has begun.
Belgium, France, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Tanzania, Senegal, Niger, the United States, and now the United Arab Emirates have joined the map.
Ten countries.
And each of them started with the same thing: one person who decided to participate.
A map that lights up little by little
Each new country represents a door that has just opened.
Someone discovers FreeWillWave, understands the question posed, and freely decides to join the experience.
At that moment, they are no longer just a visitor on a site.
They are a new human in the Wave.
A new permanent number.
A new country that begins to exist in the history of the project.
Then this person can talk about it to those around them.
One invitation can provoke another. One country can awaken a second. A small local presence can become a group.
This is how the Wave can spread: human by human, country by country.
Behind the Wave, the work continues
While the group grows, I continue to build everything that will allow us to follow this adventure.
The site evolves every day to make new arrivals more visible, facilitate participation in different languages, and allow everyone to see the Wave advance live.
A large part of this work remains invisible.
But in front, something is becoming more and more visible: we are no longer alone.
Humans who do not know each other, who sometimes live thousands of kilometers apart, are beginning to come together around the same choice.
I am free.
I take responsibility for my life.
I respect the freedom of others.
Now, let's open new countries
The next step is not simply to increase a counter.
The next step is to see new points appear on the map.
Perhaps a first Free Human:
- in Morocco;
- in India;
- in Brazil;
- in Japan;
- in South Africa;
- in Argentina.
Wherever a person can understand the message, the Wave can begin.
And sometimes it only takes one share for a new country to join the adventure.
If you know someone in a country that is not yet represented, send them your link. Simply explain to them what is being born.
No need to convince.
Just allow them to discover the question and choose for themselves.
We are still at the beginning
Today, we are 27 humans in 10 countries.
This number may seem small.
But a few days ago, it did not exist.
The map was empty. The group did not yet exist. The Wave had not begun to circulate.
Today, it is here.
It is moving slowly, but it is moving.
And every person who joins it gives it a new direction, a new language, a new country, and a new possibility to grow.
The future no longer depends solely on me.
It now depends on all those who decide to carry the Wave a little further.
