FreeWillWave is a worldwide social experiment created by Belgian analyst-programmer Serge Brocteur. Its hypothesis is deliberately simple: a more human world may begin when the human comes first — when each person keeps their own freedom while respecting everyone else's. Participants receive a permanent chronological Free Human number, invite others and can observe the resulting Wave grow across countries and languages in real time. The experiment is free, global, available in 15 languages and has no predetermined outcome.

Serge is Free Human #1.
FreeWillWave was created by Serge Brocteur, a Belgian analyst-programmer.
Rather than publishing another theory about how the world should work, he decided to build an experiment.
A system where humans can adopt one simple principle, take their place, invite others and observe what happens if the idea spreads.
He created the tool. He does not lead the Free Humans.
Because the experiment would make no sense if one person decided for everyone else.
How the experiment works
1 — Take your place
A participant joins FreeWillWave and receives a unique, permanent Free Human number.
That number is never reassigned.
It records their place in the history of the experiment.
2 — Invite
Participants invite other humans to discover the experiment.
One human tells another. That person can tell someone else.
And the Wave begins to travel.
Invitation is not just a promotional feature.
It is part of the experiment itself.
How far can one human choice travel?
3 — Watch
FreeWillWave makes the experiment visible.
Participants can watch:
- new Free Humans arrive
- new countries appear
- invitations propagate
- invitation chains grow
- the world map evolve
- the Wave expand over time
Instead of talking theoretically about creating something different, we can watch humans actually try it.
4 — See what happens
There is no predetermined outcome.
Maybe a few thousand humans will participate. Maybe millions.
Maybe people will meet. Maybe they will create projects, events, services, businesses, art, music or completely unexpected initiatives.
Nobody knows.
FreeWillWave does not decide what humans should create. It creates the conditions for humans who respect each other's freedom to find one another. Then they decide.
A fuse, so the project never promises more than it can hold
FreeWillWave is funded by its members. So that the experiment never rests on a promise it cannot keep, a fuse was put in place: if the support milestone is not reached by its date, the most expensive functions switch themselves off and the site keeps running on low.
What does not switch off: joining stays open and free, members keep their number and their place, and the Story, the principle and the registry stay readable. The milestone does not reopen the door — it switches the experience back on.

FreeWillWave does not ask humans to agree about politics, religion, culture, economics, lifestyles or how everybody else should live.
It proposes only this:
You keep your freedom.
You respect the freedom of others.
And together, we grow a world where the human comes first.
That means two Free Humans can disagree about almost everything.
The common ground is simply this:
I do not need to decide for you.
You do not need to decide for me.
Why could this create a more human world?
Because a human world begins with humans making human choices.
No one needs to become identical to anyone else.
A more human world does not require everybody to make the same choices.
It requires us to recognize who has the right to make them.
The human concerned.
The platform creates the connection.
Humans create the rest.
