What happens if humans around the world consciously choose for themselves — while respecting every other human's right to do the same?

There is only one way to find out.
We try it. Together. And we watch what happens.
Every participant takes their place, receives a permanent Free Human number, invites others to join the experiment, and watches the Wave spread from human to human, country to country.
Nobody knows how far it will go.

The recipe is deliberately simple
FreeWillWave does not ask humans to agree about politics, religion, culture, economics, lifestyles or how everybody else should live.
It proposes only this:
I choose for myself.
You choose for yourself.
And we respect each other's right to do so.
That means two Free Humans can disagree about almost everything.
They do not need to think alike.
They do not need to want the same things.
They do not need to live the same way.
The common ground is simply this:
I do not need to decide for you.
You do not need to decide for me.
FreeWillWave asks what might emerge if more and more humans consciously lived from that starting point.
That is our recipe for a more human world.
Why could this create a more human world?
Because a human world begins with humans making human choices.
A person chooses what they want to do.
Another person chooses whether they want to participate.
Someone proposes.
Someone accepts.
Someone refuses.
Someone creates.
Someone joins.
Someone leaves.
No one needs to become identical to anyone else.
A more human world does not require everybody to make the same choices.
It requires us to recognize who has the right to make them.
The human concerned.
How the experiment works
1 — Take your place
A participant joins FreeWillWave and receives a unique, permanent Free Human number.
That number is never reassigned.
It records their place in the history of the experiment.
2 — Invite
Participants invite other humans to discover the experiment.
One human tells another. That person can tell someone else.
And the Wave begins to travel.
Invitation is not just a promotional feature.
It is part of the experiment itself.
3 — Watch
FreeWillWave makes the experiment visible.
Participants can watch:
- new Free Humans arrive
- new countries appear
- invitations propagate
- invitation chains grow
- the world map evolve
- the Wave expand over time
Instead of talking theoretically about creating something different, we can watch humans actually try it.
4 — See what happens
There is no predetermined outcome.
Maybe a few thousand humans will participate. Maybe millions.
Maybe people will meet. Maybe they will create projects, events, services, businesses, art, music or completely unexpected initiatives.
Nobody knows.
FreeWillWave does not decide what humans should create. It creates the conditions for humans who respect each other's freedom to find one another. Then they decide.

A person can join today, return years later and see what happened after they took their place.
Your number is your place in the story
Every participant receives a permanent chronological Free Human number.
Imagine joining when there are 500 humans.
Years later, perhaps there are 5 million.
Your number still says:
You were there.
It is not a rank.
It gives no additional rights.
It is simply your permanent place in the history of the experiment.
One human can start a chain
Imagine:

- That person invites another.
- Then another.
- The chain crosses a city.
- Then a country.
- Then a continent.

So the experiment asks another fascinating question:
How far can one human choice travel?
Not through obligation.
Not through an algorithm deciding who should see it.
But through humans consciously passing the idea to other humans.

FreeWillWave was created by Serge Brocteur, a Belgian analyst-programmer.
Rather than publishing another theory about how the world should work, he decided to build an experiment.
A system where humans can adopt one simple principle, take their place, invite others and observe what happens if the idea spreads.
Serge is Free Human #1.
He created the tool. He does not lead the Free Humans.
Because the experiment would make no sense if one person decided for everyone else.
