Thank you to each and every one of you: you are all among the first. To thank those who carried the beginnings of the movement, I am offering 361 birth portraits to 145 people who have climbed onto the podiums since June 21. Each person can open theirs or give it away to whoever they want, and will receive an email explaining everything; a portrait is worth $20. Hello everyone, I hope you are well. You may have noticed that I have been a bit absent these last two weeks. My dad fell ill and he stayed in bed for about two weeks, unable to get out. He is 88 years old, and this situation added a lot of stress to the illness I had myself. I want to thank the nurses who came every morning to relieve me in this task: their presence mattered more than they imagine. And the good news is that he is starting to walk again. Yesterday, he spent the whole day in his armchair.
What is offered, and to whom
Since the first day, humans have been there every day. They invite, they send energy, they support. Their names appear on the podiums, and I wanted that to be more than just a line in a table. So every place on a podium counted: a person who climbed once receives one portrait, a person who came back often receives several.
On October 11, I already told you about the first 316 portraits offered. I have extended this gift to all podiums until October 28: 45 more portraits, and three people joining the list.
I won't list all 145 names here, but I want to salute a few. #10212 RICHARD (Philippines) receives 46 portraits. #9125 Adamu Bello (Nigeria) receives 27, and #40 Alistair A (New Zealand) 19. More than half of the people thanked live in Nigeria, and that touches me deeply: it is where the wave found its first great momentum.
To all the others, from Canada to India, from Belgium to Kenya: thank you. You will receive an information email telling you how many portraits await you and how to use them.
And I want to thank just as much those who do not receive this gift. We are now more than 12,400 Free Humans, in 102 countries, and each of you is part of the wave. You have been here since the early months, you are among the first, and no one can ever take that away from you. Thank you for taking your place.
What is a birth portrait?
It is a booklet written for a specific birth moment. You give your date, time and place of birth, the sky of that moment is calculated, then an autonomous machine writes the reading from that sky. You find your sky in brief, a chapter-by-chapter reading, and a brand-new final chapter, "What would suit you best", which suggests, among FreeWillWave, Humans.team and MusicalContest, what suits the person best, and why.
Birth data is used only once, for the calculation, then it is destroyed. The booklet remains downloadable for 7 days.
For you, or for someone you love
Each portrait offered is a link. The person holding it does what they want with it: they open it for themselves, or they send it to someone they want to give a gift to, a friend, their mother, a colleague. The person receiving the link needs nothing else to compose their portrait.
Once logged in, you find your links in the store, under "Your portraits", with the "Receive my portraits" button.
A portrait is worth $20. That is its price for those who want to buy it, on the birth portrait page. When you give one, you are giving a real gift.
Humans.team opens its doors
First, a quick word on how all this fits together. The front door is FreeWillWave.
