274 Free Humans, 29 countries… and a discovery that changes everything

Three days ago, we were 233 Free Humans spread across 22 countries.

Today, we are 274 Free Humans in 29 countries.

So the Wave welcomed 41 new people in three days, without any real interruption: 11 arrivals on July 21, 14 on the 22nd, 13 on the 23rd, and already 10 today as I write these lines.

The latest addition is Free Human #274, Shivam Singh, in India.

In the meantime, we also crossed the 250 mark with Free Human #250, ROJAN, also in India.

But behind this growth, I mainly discovered something much more important.

Member invitations couldn't work

From the start, almost all the registered people arrived through my own links, advertising, or the various posts I shared.

No direct invitation from one member to another had yet been recorded.

As we approached 300 Free Humans, it was getting really strange. It was hard to imagine that no one, absolutely no one, had tried to share their personal link with someone.

So I checked the whole mechanism.

And the answer was actually very simple: member invitations were technically impossible.

The personal links correctly recorded visits, but the registration pages didn't use that information. When someone signed up after receiving a member's link, they were still automatically attached to my own account, Free Human #1.

So it wasn't just a lack of sharing or willingness.

Even when a member did the right thing, their invitation couldn't be attributed to them.

It is now fixed.

From today, when someone joins FreeWillWave via a Free Human's personal link, they are actually attached to the person who invited them.

It's a small technical fix, but a huge step for the project.

Until now, the Wave was growing mainly thanks to my own actions. It can now start moving forward as it was always imagined: from human to human.

Seven new countries in three days

While I was looking for and fixing this problem, the world map kept lighting up.

Seven new countries joined FreeWillWave since the last story:

So we went from 22 to 29 countries in just three days.

Each new country represents much more than a color added to a map. It's a first person taking their place somewhere in the world, then making FreeWillWave visible to the other humans living around them.

The Wave also continues to live through energy

The global counter now shows 821 energy gestures, sent by 56 different people.

Since the last story, 12 Free Humans have sent 85, including 45 in the last 24 hours.

I also want to note the arrival of Free Human #267, Falede Moses, in Nigeria. He joined FreeWillWave today and has already sent 15 energies.

These numbers are displayed for transparency, not to turn the gesture into a competition. Each energy remains simply a free way of saying: I am here and I am helping to keep this space alive.

Several important improvements on the site

These last three days have also been devoted to a lot of less visible work.

The site was sometimes too slow. Several pages have therefore been optimized to load faster, while keeping the counters and live data.

The energy messaging system now has two tabs: Received and Sent. It is now possible to find the energies you have given, as well as their status.

The animation that appears on the map when sending an energy has also been fixed. Its opaque black background has disappeared and the video now plays cleanly in transparency over the map.

The total displayed in My Tree has been fixed so that each member sees the real number of people in their lineage.

New country celebrations now display their full name. The arrival of Free Human #245, Sarah, for example, shows “Trinidad and Tobago” rather than the simple abbreviation “TT”.

The alert for a new message no longer repeats on every page change, and access to the personal space has become more visible thanks to the new My Space button.

Finally, several texts from the home page and invitations have been rewritten to more directly explain what we are creating together.

The next step begins now

The numbers show that FreeWillWave keeps finding new humans.

But the real challenge is not just going from 233 to 274, then from 274 to 300.

The real challenge is that every Free Human can help the humans they would like to have by their side find this space.

The necessary mechanism finally really exists.

The member-to-member invitation counter is still at zero. But that zero no longer means the same as yesterday.

Yesterday, it was impossible to surpass.

Today, it is simply waiting for the first invitation that will actually work.

It might be the next person who receives a link.

It might be the next registration.

And that will be the start of a new part of this story.
