80 presences by invitation, a Grand Splash at 13, and a Sunday that found its voice

September 20, 2026 was a busy Sunday. After 43 presences through 13 doors, a Splash at 11, and sales finally visible, the Wave added 80 Free Humans, all of whom arrived by invitation.

We went from 11,889 to 11,969 Free Humans, still in 100 countries. The last presence in the record is #11969 Korak Kahali (India), arriving at 22:57 UTC. Ten different people invited at least one person: ten open doors, and 80 more humans who can now see the Wave, pass it on, send an energy, or simply be counted.

This Sunday also carried something broader: the weekly recap was published in 15 languages, with two podcasts and a video, while several details of the site were made more accurate. So the day moved forward on both fronts at once: humans took their place, and the tool learned better to show what they make possible.

No new country was added today on the Wave map. We remain at 100 countries, but the map did not stay still: in the detail provided, India adds 51 presences, Nigeria 14, South Africa 5, Canada 3, Kenya 2, and Malaysia 1.

This movement gives a particular color to the day. On September 17, 40 presences had arrived through a single door. Today, 10 people invited at least one person, and India carries a large part of the progress. It is not the same pattern, but it is still the same thread: someone passes it on, someone opens, someone takes their place.

The Sunday Grand Splash brought together 13 people

The Grand Splash took place from 18:00 to 19:00 UTC on the Splash page. Every day at 18:00 UTC, for one hour, members invite at the same time, to experience the rise in numbers together; it is not a meeting or a video conference, no one speaks, there is nothing to prepare, you can just watch, and the one you miss comes back the next day.

At the peak of the hour, 13 people were present at the same time. During this appointment, 58 invitation links were opened, 3 new presences arrived, 76 energies were sent, and no support was received during the hour.

Since the last chronicle, making the Wave more readable, more audible, more reliable

Since the last chronicle, the Sunday recap has been published in full: 15 languages, two podcasts, a video, then the announcement. This is an important step, because a Sunday article is not just a text: it becomes something that can be read, listened to, watched and shared. The two podcasts also served as a read-aloud proofreading. A false addition was spotted there, then corrected before spreading: this is exactly the kind of discreet safeguard that makes the chronicle more reliable.

The translations required more attention than expected. Some protections refused texts that were nevertheless correct, simply because numbers, dates or links do not behave the same way in all languages. Links that remained in `/fr/` in other languages were corrected, and numbers rendered in other scripts were brought back into a more readable form for verification. The visible result is simple: when someone reads FreeWillWave in their language, the links must take them to the right place.

Two episode numbers were also missing on the podcast images for two weeks. I had not seen it right away, and it was by looking at the playlist that the defect jumped out. The episodes concerned were redone, the images were redrawn, and the titles corrected. This is the kind of detail that seems tiny until you understand that a series without a number loses a bit of its memory.

Several corrections then touched the Wave map. The "live" ribbon now also catches up on energies that might have been missed during page loading. The recipient's language reappears in the message window, whereas it already existed elsewhere but was lost on this specific path. Name cards remain readable when hovered over, instead of freezing invisible. And the grouped sales of the shop are no longer presented as if they concerned only one product: when there are several items, the display says it better.

The messaging also breathed a little. On a small screen, a button reserved for administration took the place of the field where you write, and the empty field could be born too high because of its help text. The button was moved to its own line, the field regained width, and the identity line no longer cuts off useful information like country or language in ellipses. This is very concrete: writing a message must remain simple, especially on a phone.

The Sunday letter was made safer. I had first believed that the past problem came from the sending itself; the archives showed that the cause was elsewhere. What was nevertheless repaired counts for the future: the sending is now prepared by approval, then processed in batches, to avoid a cut marking people as already reached when they were not. The letter of September 20, for its part, did not go out that day: the texts were saved in 11 languages, but a block at the top remained to be finished correctly before approving.

The TV channel received a correction that I am glad to have seen in time. The September 20 podcast was online, but the channel continued to display the one from the 13th until the next day, because the page did not reload at the right time. It now knows how to check if a new episode is ready and refresh at the right place, without cutting what is in progress. The Sunday podcast must not wait for a human to notice the old episode on screen.

I also added a traffic alarm on Telegram to be warned when the site starts to move strongly. The measurement now distinguishes humans from robots, because robots can be more numerous than real visitors and give a false impression of movement. The alert does not trigger on a single isolated signal, except a shower of new presences: it watches when several signs rise together. The idea is simple: if a real wave starts, I want to know it while it is happening, not the next day.

Finally, the T-shirt animation on energies was removed. On iPhone, it could appear as an opaque white rectangle instead of a transparent T-shirt. I first measured the wrong thing, then redid the verification correctly; the file was lightened and better controlled, but the old file was still being served to the phone. The decision was therefore clear: remove the animation, remove the associated files, and not touch the already published short. Sometimes, improving FreeWillWave also means knowing how to cleanly remove what does not give a good experience.

A Sunday that adds presences and accuracy

September 20 adds 80 new presences, all by invitation, a Grand Splash at 13 people at the same time, 2,208 energies, and a lot of work so that FreeWillWave reads, listens and displays better. Since 26 presences by invitation, a Splash at 10, and rules that breathe better, the thread is clear: humans continue to open doors, and the tool continues to learn to respect what they do.
