On September 26, at 18:00 UTC, eleven people were there at the same time for the Splash. During that simple hour, 18 invitations were opened by people who clicked a link, 5 humans took their place in FreeWillWave, and the "send energy" gesture was made 82 times on the site.

The day was quieter than some others, but it continued. 34 more humans took their place, 186 people made the send-energy gesture at least once, and an important question was clarified: no one can request the closure of your FreeWillWave account from their own account.

Your account cannot be closed by someone else

A very simple question came up in the day's work: can we accept that a person requests the deletion of an account if it is not their own? The answer is no. Deleting an account is a definitive decision, and it cannot be made from the outside.

On FreeWillWave, deletion is done from one's own settings, with a code sent to the address linked to that account. This is deliberately strict: another person cannot know in your place which account should be closed, nor confirm a decision that does not belong to them. It's a small rule visible in a very concrete button, but it says something important about the spirit of the site: even when someone leaves, their choice must remain their own.

For you: if you want to close your account, you can do so from your settings with a code sent to the address of that account, and no one else can request it in your place.

After the day when a sentence was corrected to say more exactly what FreeWillWave offers, this one adds a very concrete rule: your account only closes from your own settings. It's less visible than a big number on the map, but it's exactly the kind of detail that makes a place clearer and safer for those who use it.

The Wave continues through simple gestures

There were 34 new presences during the day. India carried 22, Ukraine 9, Nigeria 2, and the Netherlands 1. No new country appeared on the map, but the countries already there continued to circulate the Wave.

The last presence of the day arrived at 23:39 UTC: #12152 AJ@Serendipity🇮🇳 (India). This simply means that at 23:39 UTC, one more person took their place before the end of the day. The page turned with that gesture in memory.

Four different people invited at least someone. That's not a large number, and it's not a problem: four open doors are already enough to bring in 34 new presences. The Wave doesn't grow only through big surges; it also grows through these days when a few humans make a gesture, and that gesture becomes visible on the map.

A few days ago, a Sunday had gathered 13 people at the peak of the Grand Splash and carried 80 new presences. Today, the pace is calmer. But the movement is the same: humans take their place, others invite, others send energy, and each gesture keeps the Wave alive.

The Splash held its hour

The Splash took place from 18:00 to 19:00 UTC. Every day at 18:00 UTC, for one hour, members can invite at the same time, watch the number rise, send energy, or simply be there at the same moment. It's not a meeting or a video conference, no one speaks, there's nothing to prepare: you can just watch, and the one you miss comes back the next day.

At the peak of the hour, 11 people were present at the same time. It's a short hour, but it has a special strength: for sixty minutes, the Wave is not just consulted, it is watched together.
