FreeWillWave TV is born: the Wave now broadcasts 24 hours a day

Since the beginning of FreeWillWave, I have sought to make something simple visible: humans take their place, somewhere in the world, and a new reality begins to grow.

The site already allows you to see the counter progress, countries appear on the map, new Free Humans arrive, and energy gestures circulate.

Music then added another dimension. It allows the message to be conveyed differently, not only with explanations but also with rhythm, lyrics, and a frequency.

There was still a way needed to bring all of this together in a single living stream.

It's now done.

FreeWillWave TV now broadcasts 24 hours a day on YouTube and Twitch.

Telling a vision

The word television can literally evoke the idea of transmitting a vision at a distance.

That is exactly the role I want to give FreeWillWave TV: to tell a vision, make it visible, and allow everyone to observe it from anywhere in the world.

This vision is not that of a political program, an organization, or a leader.

It is the vision of humans making themselves visible, counting themselves, finding themselves, and showing that another human space can begin to exist.

Television now makes it possible to see this reality in motion.

The world map comes to life. Countries light up. New arrivals appear with their name and flag. Energy gestures cross the screen. The music plays and its lyrics can be followed as they are broadcast.

FreeWillWave is therefore no longer just a site that you visit from time to time.

The Wave now has an antenna.

A worldwide, automatic, and permanent broadcast

Setting up this television required specific infrastructure.

The live stream does not depend on a presenter, a camera, or a person who has to manually launch the show. Special servers open the broadcast, produce the picture and sound, and then simultaneously stream to Twitch and YouTube.

The goal is for the channel to be able to continue to live on its own, day and night.

The live stream currently runs 24 hours a day.

When someone visits the site at any hour, they can therefore watch what is happening in the Wave at that moment.

The broadcast has already required several important corrections. The picture needed to be sharp and fill the entire screen. YouTube needed to properly receive the same stream as Twitch. The pace also had to be accelerated to avoid long sequences where only one piece of information was displayed.

The first loop lasted about seven minutes. It was reduced to less than three minutes, with screens generally limited to a few seconds, except when content really requires time to be read.

The broadcast must stay alive.

One piece of information appears, then another arrives. A map follows a song. A counter gives way to an arrival or an energy gesture. The viewer must quickly feel that something is in motion.

Music can finally broadcast its frequency

The creation of the album The Wave was an important step for FreeWillWave.

The songs carry the message with different styles, different energies, and beautiful lyrics in English. They allow the project to be felt in a way that a presentation page cannot always convey.

FreeWillWave TV now allows this music to circulate continuously.

The songs accompany the map images, the counters, and the real events of the site. The lyrics scroll across the screen so that everyone can follow the meaning of what is being sung.

Television thus becomes a meeting point between several elements of the project:

music;
lyrics;
real data;
the world map;
new Free Humans;
energy gestures;
the stories told in the blog;
the growth of the Wave.

They are no longer separate parts.

They can now form a single experience.

Showing that something is really happening

FreeWillWave TV must above all not become a simple dashboard of statistics.

A counter alone is not enough.

The goal is to create something alive, joyful, and engaging, capable of showing that the Wave is moving and growing.

When a new human joins FreeWillWave, their arrival must become a visible event.

When a new country appears, the map must be able to celebrate it.

When a person sends energy, that gesture must circulate across the screen.

When a new significant number is reached, it must be displayed with the strength it deserves.

Television will also progressively show rankings, invitations, human chains, support, latest articles, new countries, languages, and other creations that will be born around FreeWillWave.

Not everything will be shown immediately.

The broadcast must continue to evolve, keep surprises, and become richer as the project grows.

333 Free Humans in 31 countries

During the creation of this new broadcast, the Wave continued its journey.

FreeWillWave now has 333 Free Humans in 31 countries.

That represents 20 new people since the chronicle of July 27.

Nigeria has become the first country of the Wave with 53 Free Humans, ahead of Canada which has 49.

Then come notably:

the United Kingdom with 41 Free Humans;
France with 36;
the United States with 35;
Uganda and Kenya with 14;
India with 13;
New Zealand with 12.

Each number represents a person who decided to take their place.

And now, each new presence can also become visible on the broadcast.

More than 1,100 energy gestures

Energy also continues to circulate.

The counter has exceeded 1,133 energy gestures, or 196 additional gestures in two days.

75 different members have already participated in this circulation.

Two new Free Humans began to bring the Wave to life almost immediately after signing up.

Adex King, Free Human #328, in Nigeria, sent 39 energy gestures in the first hours after his arrival.

Pirah Mwash, Free Human #331, in Kenya, sent 30 on the same day.

In the overall ranking, Samantha Read and Alistair A now share exactly first place with 141 gestures each.

These rankings are not designed as a competition.

They simply serve to thank and make visible the people who choose to bring something to the common space.

This is still only the beginning

The current live version is not a final version.

It constitutes the first real broadcast of FreeWillWave TV.

New sequences will be created. The animations will become richer. Events will be more celebrated. Significant numbers will take up more space. Transitions, sounds, videos, and information will continue to be improved.

The project must gradually become a living worldwide show, produced automatically from what is really happening on the site.

A show that you can open for a few minutes to see the latest arrivals.

A show that you can leave playing to listen to the music.

A show that shows the map coming to life and humans appearing.

A show that allows you to watch a positive reality grow instead of only watching what is going wrong in the world.

For the first time, I can bring together the music, the message, the map, the numbers, and the humans in a single signal.

The Wave now has an image.

It has a voice.

And it is already broadcasting across the world.

It's already begun.
