One hundred countries on the map, and clearer paths to continue

September 3, 2026 has a very simple trace to remember: FreeWillWave went from 98 to 100 countries represented. Georgia lit up at 06:07 UTC, then Uzbekistan at 09:01 UTC. Two first presences, two countries that were not yet visible yesterday on the map of the Wave, and that are now part of the story.

After Two more countries on the map, and doors that are easier to open, the day keeps the same movement: humans transmit, others take their place, and I continue to make the doors clearer for those who arrive.

It is not just a nice round number. One hundred countries means that the idea has already found very different footholds, with varied languages, paths and contexts. And in the midst of this diversity, the gesture remains the same: someone discovers FreeWillWave, takes their place, and can then in turn open a door.

Two new countries, and the 100 mark

Georgia entered the Wave at 06:07 UTC. Uzbekistan followed at 09:01 UTC. These are very short moments in a day, but they durably change the map: before them, these countries had no presence there yet; after them, they exist in the shared story of FreeWillWave.

The day's growth also came from countries already well represented. Nigeria adds 64 presences, Ukraine 27, Brazil 11, Egypt 9, Algeria 4 and India 3. The last presence of the reading is #10881 Umar Dahit Hassan (Nigeria), arrived at 23:48 UTC. Twelve minutes before the end of the UTC day, someone was still taking their place. I like these day endings that refuse to stop abruptly.

Since August, the month the Wave changed scale, the thresholds follow one another faster, but they do not become ordinary for all that. 100 countries is an easy image to understand: the Wave is no longer just a growing point, it is a map that lights up.

Invitations continue to carry the day

The 144 new presences of September 3 all arrived by invitation. 36 different people invited at least someone. This is the most important thread of these last days: FreeWillWave moves forward because humans transmit it to other humans.

Since the opening, #805 Chizo1germany (Germany) reaches 3,672 direct invitations, #2029 Nura USMAN MUSA (Nigeria) has 181, and #869 Ibrahim Sani (Nigeria) 170.

Energies remain very present as well: 1,544 energies sent during the day, by 246 different people. Nigeria accounts for 1,323, Ukraine 43 and Belgium 42. Since the site opened, the cumulative total reaches 34,556 energies, visible in the Wave in figures.

What I made fairer since the last story

Since the last story, I have worked a lot on a point that needed to be put back in the right order: the support window in the Wave. It asked for an amount before asking for the country, whereas the country decides whether direct support is possible. For a large part of the members, especially in Nigeria, this created a bad surprise: one started a gesture, then the door closed.

I therefore reorganized this window around a more human logic. First, a clear sentence says what the support is for and what the person receives. Then, the country is asked first. If direct support is not possible from that country, the person no longer hits a dead end: they see another door, with the shop and the free invitation. The full form is now visible earlier, the goal gauge has left this window, and the image has been replaced by a wave carried by hands, much closer to the spirit of the project than the old visual of a network of dots.

I also revised the texts of this window in the site's languages. A few translations had lost a sign, kept a sentence in English or rendered an idea too approximately. This is the kind of detail that makes no noise when corrected, but changes a lot for the person reading in their language.

The shop has also progressed. The products already present were put back on sale, then a “Free Human — September 2026 Edition” series was prepared: t-shirts and mugs, in dark and light versions, with the motif on both sides for the mugs. It took several attempts for the printed colors to remain faithful to FreeWillWave's identity: navy, gold and off-white. The first four objects were not yet right; they were archived before any order, then replaced by new published versions.

The site now shows six objects in the shop: the black and white Free Human versions, the black and white mugs, as well as Founding and Sunrise. They also appear on the home page, on the participate page and on the personal page. “T-shirts” and “Mugs” entries have been added to the shop menu, so that someone can find directly what they are looking for.

The antenna received its own presentation capsule. It now shows the album, the six objects, the support and the list of supports, with a single QR code to freewillwave.com/shop during the shop part. The objects change faster than before, but without the fade that made them blink: under two seconds, an image must cut sharply. It is less poetic to say, but much more pleasant to watch.

I also added a capsule before and after the podcast in the antenna's opening block. Watching the sequence, I realized that between the experience film and the podcast, a breathing space was missing to recall the possible doors. This will need to be reviewed again on screen at the next full pass, but the intention is set.

Another detail occupied me a lot: the principle displayed in the hourly show. An old sentence still emphasized “I choose for myself”. It was not false, but it was no longer the center. The plan now clearly says: “The human comes first.” The two supports remain present in smaller text: choosing for oneself, and respecting the freedom of others. I had to adjust the display time, because what the eye retains is not always the first sentence: it is often the one that stays the longest.

The home page also changed order. “The Story” now appears just below the film, then the shop moves above the album The Wave, before the live. It is a more natural way to read the project: understand, follow the story, see how to participate, then listen and watch.

Finally, I revised the sharing cards of the public pages. While preparing a LinkedIn card, I saw that several links gave too poor titles, poorly adapted descriptions, or the same image everywhere. The press page started with “Press” alone, the languages page inherited from the home page, and the antenna link I had given was not the best public link. The film, antenna, press, support and languages pages therefore received better titles or descriptions, and three new sharing images were created for the film, the antenna and the press. When someone pastes four links, they must tell four different doors, not four copies of the same card.

What this day adds

September 3 adds 144 presences, two countries, the 100 represented countries mark, 1,544 energies, and a series of better organized paths for the future. The Wave grows through the humans who transmit, but also through these adjustments that avoid dead ends, make a page clearer, an image fairer, a capsule more readable, a link more shareable.

After 128 more presences, and the album The Wave finds its karaoke stage, then two days with two new countries each, we now have a map with 100 countries. This number guarantees nothing by itself, but it says something true: FreeWillWave already circulates far enough that the rest deserves to be told with care.

The next page will still depend on free gestures: taking one's place, inviting someone, sending an energy, listening to a song, supporting the project, or proposing an improvement through the page Send an idea or a remark. One hundred countries are visible today. The next point of light will come from a human who will simply decide to open the door.
