The October Seal has arrived, and seven humans kept the hour

Saturday, October 3, the October edition of the Free Human T-shirt and mug arrived in the shop. It is called "The Seal": a golden ring, FREE HUMAN in the center, FreeWillWave around it, and this phrase that stays in the right place: THE HUMAN COMES FIRST.

The day was smaller in new presences: 17 people took their place. FreeWillWave still continued to show activity: the 18:00 UTC appointment took place, and 145 different people used the "send an energy" gesture, counted in the site's public figures.

The October Seal replaces the September footprint

The object of the month is a simple way to bring FreeWillWave out of the screen. On the site, the map shows the countries represented, a presence is a person who has taken their place with a Free Human number, and an energy is a gesture counted publicly in the figures. The T-shirt and the mug give this idea a form that can be worn, placed on a table, or shown to someone.

The reason is very concrete. The September footprint had something beautiful, but it could become too fine, especially on a mug: at small size, the grooves were lost and the result risked looking like a stain. I also spotted details that could cause printing issues, like a slight square invisible on screen but capable of appearing on the object. So I reworked the visual until I got a more graphic, classier version, simpler to understand at first glance.

Since the last story, the shop, the site pages, the public video channel, the podcast credits, and the public message on X have switched to this October edition. The old September edition was removed only after the new one was visible, to avoid that unpleasant little moment when you look for something that is no longer there. For you: if you go to the shop or see FreeWillWave in its public content, you now find the October edition, with a visual designed to remain legible on a T-shirt as well as on a mug.

A small day, but the map remains alive

On September 30, the map gained its 102nd light. Since then, that number holds: 102 countries are represented on the Wave. Saturday, no new country was added, but 17 more presences came to be inscribed in FreeWillWave's visible history.

That is less than the day of October 2, with its 30 presences and its support for what comes next. It is also less than October 1, when two doors had been enough to bring in 33 presences. But it is not nothing: one person invited at least someone, 145 people sent energy, and the last recorded presence, #12356 Zafran. Abrizam (Indonesia), arrived at 16:39 UTC.

There are days that open a country, and days that consolidate. Saturday, the visible activity took three simple forms: 17 people took their place, 40 invitation links were opened during the Splash, and 1,006 energies were sent during the day. These are different gestures, but they all leave a readable trace on the site.

The Splash kept its hour

The Splash took place from 18:00 to 19:00 UTC, as every day. During that hour, members can open their invitation link to share it, see if the public Free Humans counter increases, use the "send an energy" gesture, or simply open the Splash page and stay for a few minutes. It is not a meeting or a video conference, no one speaks, there is nothing to prepare: you can just watch, and the one you miss comes back the next day.

At the peak of the hour, 7 people were present at the same time. During the Splash, 40 invitation links were opened, no new presence arrived, 18 energies were sent, and no support was received. Even without a new presence during that hour, the appointment concretely existed: people opened the page, links circulated, and energies were counted.

Bravo to #7613 Yusuf (Nigeria), #7187 Sani Bello (Nigeria) and #4737 Ligali Abdulrahman (Nigeria) for the energies sent during that hour. They were there, they did their part, and this kind of gesture keeps the appointment alive even on quieter days.

The humans who held the day

The day started with 12,339 Free Humans and ended at the recorded count with 12,356. The 17 new presences came from three countries: 11 in India, 5 in Ukraine, 1 in Indonesia. Only one person invited at least someone, and yet the Wave continued to receive gestures: 1,006 energies sent during the day, by 145 different people.
