One hundred and five days, two more countries, and the next chapter to fund

Serge's podcast

Season 1 · Episode 10

The week just gone, told by two voices.

8 min

I am writing today on behalf of Serge, with his words as the main thread. FreeWillWave opened on 21 June 2026; on Tuesday 29 September, the Wave passed its 100th day, and this Sunday 4 October, it counts 105.

This week, two new countries lit up on the map: Singapore with #12220 Suba Khan (Singapore), then Tunisia with #12271 Umar Sani saad (Tunisia). On the day of the official opening, 8 people had already taken their place since the first trials began on 19 May; by Saturday evening, 3 October, 12,356 Free Humans had taken their place, in 102 countries.

One hundred days, and two more lights on the map

Passing 100 days is not just a round date. It is the moment when we can look back without needing to embellish: in just over three months, thousands of people have taken a visible place, with a permanent number, a country, and a trace on the Wave map.

This week added two countries to that story. On Monday 28 September at 11:31 UTC, #12220 Suba Khan (Singapore) gave Singapore the 101st light on the map. On Wednesday 30 September at 18:33 UTC, #12271 Umar Sani saad (Tunisia) added Tunisia, the 102nd country.

These two moments extend what September was already telling: FreeWillWave does not grow only in great leaps. Sometimes a single presence is enough to bring an entire country into the Wave's memory. It happened the day Singapore appeared, then the day Tunisia joined the map.

Keeping the site alive, without stopping the Wave

This week Serge worked mainly on a very simple question to understand: how to make FreeWillWave finance its own next chapter, so it can continue to exist and grow. He does not present this as a secondary subject. Every support, every purchase, every useful product can help the Wave stay open and continue the experience.

The campaign "Let's continue the global social experiment, let's keep FreeWillWave open" was due to end on 30 September. It is extended until Thursday 15 October at 23:59 UTC. This Sunday, the gauge shows $37 out of $2,000, with 4 supporters, and 12 days remaining on the support page.

For you: if you wanted to support FreeWillWave and had missed the first date, the door remains open until 15 October at 23:59 UTC.

Serge also announces that a new shop page will appear soon. He is still keeping its content secret, and I will add nothing to what he has not said. He only says that the products put on sale in the coming week or two should make it possible to fill the pot.

For you: soon, the shop will have a new place in the FreeWillWave suite, and you will be able to discover it when it is visible, without having to guess today what it will contain.

He has also considered offering rewards to those who invite, send energy and support the project. Again, nothing is announced about the form, the date or the number. But Serge's sentence is important: "They are our heroes, and it is thanks to them that this movement grows."

For you: nothing is to be claimed today, but the gestures that move the Wave forward are seen, counted, and Serge has considered offering rewards to those who carry them.

October's Seal is online

The October edition of the T-shirt and mug arrived on Friday 2 October in the shop. It is called "The Seal": FREE HUMAN at the centre of a gold ring, FreeWillWave and "October 2026 Edition" around it, then THE HUMAN COMES FIRST below. It exists in black, navy, dark grey and white T-shirts, and in black or white mugs, at the same prices as the September edition.

This change has a very concrete reason. The September imprint was becoming a stain on a small-sized mug, and a slight invisible square on screen could appear in print. Serge therefore wanted a more graphic, classier visual, readable at first glance; the September edition was only withdrawn once the October one was visible everywhere.

For you: if you want to wear or give the October edition, it is already available in the shop, with a visual designed to remain readable on a T-shirt as well as on a mug.

A lower week, but still alive

The week from 27 September to 3 October counts 204 new presences, against 263 the previous week. It is said as it is. The numbers fell, and the Wave still moved forward: two more countries, 8,424 energies sent, 426 different people who sent at least one energy, and 21 members whose link brought someone in.

The figures below measure the window from Sunday 27 September 00:00 UTC to Saturday 3 October 23:59 UTC, compared with the previous week. The Free Humans counter is the site's public counter; the energies are the gestures sent on the site during the week. The detailed figures remain available on the data page.

In the day-by-day detail, Sunday 27 carried 41 new presences, Monday 28 carried 52, then Tuesday 29 dropped to 7. Wednesday 30 added 24, Thursday 1 October 33, Friday 2 October 30, and Saturday 3 October 17. The 12,200th place was taken on Monday by #12200 AMOL Pawar (India), then the 12,300th on Thursday by #12300 राजवीर सिंह (India).

The total of energies since the opening is now approaching an important threshold, without having yet reached it at the time of the reading: 98,435 on Saturday 3 October at midnight UTC, then 99,320 this Sunday at 17:12 UTC. The 100,000 mark is very close. It remains ahead of us, and that is very good as it is: a threshold does not need to be forced to exist.

Thanks to those who carry the next chapter

Serge asked for a big thank you to #10212 RICHARD (Philippines) and to #7309 Caroline (Belgium) for their support. #7309 Caroline (Belgium) had supported FreeWillWave on 20 September. #10212 RICHARD (Philippines) supported it on Friday 2 October, the only support of this week.

This gesture by #10212 RICHARD (Philippines) joins something else: he also sent the most energies this week, and he moved into first place since the opening with 9,558 energies. In the week's energies, thanks also to #4737 Ligali Abdulrahman (Nigeria) and to #6050 surajo yahaya (Nigeria). In the links that brought someone in, thanks to #4737 Ligali Abdulrahman (Nigeria), #805 Chizo1germany (Germany) and #1974 sabir mustapha (Nigeria).

The full podiums are displayed under this text by the site. Here, I want above all to keep the gratitude in the right order: humans took time, sent energy, opened their link, supported, watched, waited, sometimes simply followed. Not everything weighs the same, but everything can count, and observing remains a full participation.

The broadcast continues, and the live feed becomes clearer

Serge said it in his own words: "the closure of Twitch gave birth to the channel on Rumble". Since 11 September, the FreeWillWave TV broadcast has been on Rumble, and it also broadcasts on YouTube. The live feed remains accessible from a single simple door: freewillwave.com/fr/watch.

This week, a small marker on the live feed was also made clearer. Before, it could announce "next update" even during the opening or transitions; now, it names the next step and counts the pauses one by one. It is a discreet improvement, but it removes a real small confusion: when you watch, you know better what you are waiting for.

For you: on the live feed, you can follow the Wave without wondering whether the screen is waiting for an update, a transition or the next step.

The Splash will soon give way

The Splash continued every day from 18:00 to 19:00 UTC, with the Grand Splash on Sunday. Over the week, the peaks were 8 people on Sunday, 8 on Monday, 6 on Tuesday, 7 on Wednesday, 6 on Thursday, 8 on Friday and 7 on Saturday; during those hours, 309 invitation pages were opened, 15 new presences arrived, and 365 energies were sent.

Serge now announces that the Splash and the Grand Splash will be replaced soon. He does not yet say by what, and I am not inventing the next chapter. For you: the Splash and the Grand Splash will be replaced soon.

What it could become

This week, 21 members saw their link bring someone in, and two more countries joined the map. If tomorrow one person, then three, then ten people with a real audience spoke about FreeWillWave, the same gesture could carry the Wave much further. Maybe you will be one of those people, maybe not; the door remains open.

The door remains open

The October collection is already in the shop, the pot remains open on the support page until 15 October at 23:59 UTC, and the new shop page is coming soon. You can follow the Wave live on freewillwave.com/fr/watch, listen to what accompanies it on the music page, or send an idea via the message page. The Wave can be watched, supported, shared. The door remains open.
