Twelve humans at the Grand Splash, and the Wave approaches 100,000 energies
Sunday, October 4, the Grand Splash kept its hour: 12 people were there at the same time, and 89 energies were sent during this appointment. It's not a huge crowd. It's a real presence, at the same moment, on the same page.
The day was lower in new presences, with 19 more humans. But FreeWillWave kept moving forward: people opened invitation links, others sent an energy on the site, and the cumulative total since launch now reaches 99,631 energies.
A calmer day, but still alive
After the day the October Seal arrived, this Sunday moved forward more simply. No new creation to tell, no big announcement to add: only the Wave continuing, with its daily gestures, its presences, its feedback, its invitations.
Those days matter too. FreeWillWave doesn't only grow when a T-shirt or a mug appears in the shop, or when a big number shows on the page. It also grows when a few humans come back, open the Wave map, watch what moves, send an energy, or show the site to someone.
We went from 12,356 to 12,375 Free Humans during the day. Nineteen new presences, that's not a big leap. But nineteen more people now have a presence on the site, with a Free Human number and a country visible on the map, and each can give their link to someone else if they wish.
Five countries added presences
The day's new presences come from five countries. India added 11, Nigeria 3, Ukraine 3, France 1 and Niger 1. No new country appeared on the map this Sunday: the total remains at 102 countries represented.
What matters here is continuity. Since the day of 30 presences and the support goal, the Wave hasn't risen in a straight line. It moves like something alive: sometimes faster, sometimes more gently, but it still moves forward.
The last presence recorded in the day is #12375 Massaoudou Mourtala (Niger), at 20:44 UTC. A presence from Niger to close Sunday's march, and add one more name to this story built by successive touches.
Energies approach a round threshold
During the day, 1,196 energies were sent by 160 different people. Since FreeWillWave opened, the cumulative total now reaches 99,631 energies. It's not yet 100,000, but we can see it coming.
On the site, sending an energy means using the gesture designed to mark one's presence other than by inviting someone. This gesture doesn't publish a message and doesn't tell a personal story. When 160 different people do it in the same day, it simply leaves a visible trace in the day's numbers.
Nigeria carried 552 energies on Sunday, the Philippines 360, and India 164. These three countries are among the places where members were active this Sunday. And when we look at the detailed figures, we see this breathing better: presences adding up, gestures repeating, humans not all doing the same thing but still participating in the same movement.
Sunday's Grand Splash kept its hour
The Grand Splash took place from 18:00 to 19:00 UTC. Every day at 18:00 UTC, for one hour, members can invite at the same time, experience the rise of the number together, send energy, or simply watch. It's not a meeting or a video conference, no one speaks, there's nothing to prepare: you can just watch, and the one you miss comes back the next day.
On Sunday, at the peak of the hour, 12 people were present at the same time on the Splash page. During that hour, 7 invitation links were opened, 1 new presence took its place, 89 energies were sent, and no support was received.
Bravo to #6201 Sidi Abdoul Raouf (Niger), #4989 Rahama Alhassan (Nigeria) and #4737 Ligali Abdulrahman (Nigeria) for the energies sent during that hour. These are simple gestures, but they are what give substance to the appointment.
Since the day two doors opened and the 18:00 UTC appointment was kept, this moment has taken its place in FreeWillWave's rhythm. It doesn't need to be spectacular to be useful. It's enough that the page exists at that hour, that people can open it, invite someone, send an energy or watch the number of presences during the same hour.
The humans who held the day
The day started with 12,356 Free Humans and ended at the record with 12,375. Nineteen new presences were added, carried by four different people who invited at least someone. Alongside that, 160 people sent at least one energy, for a total of 1,196 gestures in the day.

Thanks to the four people who invited at least someone on Sunday. Among the day's invitations, thanks to #12069 Fadila Muhammad (Nigeria), #5672 SAIDU MOHAMMED (Nigeria) and #6201 Sidi Abdoul Raouf (Niger). Thanks also to the 160 people who sent at least one energy: during the day, #10212 RICHARD (Philippines), #11758 RAJENDRA KUMAR IZARDAR (India) and #4989 Rahama Alhassan (Nigeria) particularly carried this gesture.
Not everything weighs the same, and no one needs to do everything. Inviting, sending an energy, supporting, watching, coming back tomorrow, listening to the album The Wave, showing the map to someone: every form of presence can count. Observing is already a full participation.
What it could become
On Sunday, four people invited at least someone, and nineteen new presences took their place. If tomorrow one person with an audience, then three, then ten, simply talked about FreeWillWave around them, more people could open the map, understand the gesture, and freely choose to take their place. Maybe you will be one of those people, maybe not; the Wave remains open.
This Sunday held through simple gestures: 19 new presences, 1,196 energies, and a Grand Splash with 12 humans at the same time.
