We're looking for the next heroes of the most beautiful story ever told

Serge's podcast (special edition)

Today, I have to tell you something simply: FreeWillWave is going into reduced mode. There is almost no money left, so I am cutting costs as much as possible, while keeping the site running.

This already changes the pace. There will no longer be an article every day: the last daily article was the one on October 8, the one where I told you that the story page finally existed. From now on, there will be one article per week, on Sunday, with its podcast in French and English, and its video on YouTube. There will only be one podcast: the Sunday one.

Reduced mode, now

On June 21, 2026, FreeWillWave officially opened. We are now on day 110. This morning, 12,386 Free Humans took their place, in 101 countries.

These numbers are real. They say that a Wave already exists, that it is no longer just an idea in my head. But they do not change a very simple reality: it is impossible for one man alone, without being paid for the work he does, to indefinitely finance the costs related to what he is building.

Reduced mode serves to keep what must live, cut what can wait, and give the experiment a chance to continue. The FreeWillWave TV channel has been paused since October 8, as indicated on the live page. This is one of the necessary savings.

I know this system can be frustrating. I would obviously prefer to tell you that everything can continue without limits, without money, without difficult choices. But the system I have put in place has at least one essential quality: it guarantees that we will not die. It slows down before breaking.

If funding is not enough

What follows is not in place today. Registrations remain open. People can still take their place in FreeWillWave.

But if, in the coming month, funding remains insufficient, the site will go into "registration and funding only" mode. This means that FreeWillWave would remain open to allow new Free Humans to take their place, and to allow funding to come in, but the rest would be put on hold.

In that case, the site will reopen normally as soon as enough money has been found. This is not a closure of the idea. It is exactly the spirit of the fuse I already talked about in the special edition of September 9: protecting the experiment so that it can last.

I prefer to be clear now rather than pretend everything is fine on its own. FreeWillWave is a human experiment, but it exists in a material reality. To continue contacting as many new people as possible and growing the group, we need to set up a dynamic that brings in enough money.

Ways to help the project continue

There are several concrete ways to bring money into FreeWillWave.

The first is direct support, on the support page. In this case, 100% of what remains after bank and billing fees goes to funding the project.

The second is the portrait, available for $20 on the portrait page and in the FreeWillWave store. Here too, 100% of what remains after super intelligence, bank, and billing fees goes into funding.

There are also the items. The October 2026 edition of the T-shirt and mug is available in the T-shirt and mug store. It is called "The Seal": FREE HUMAN in a gold ring, on black and white T-shirts and black and white mugs. The first official series was September's; it is no longer on sale. From now on, there will be a new T-shirt every month, and 100% of the profit goes into funding.

Finally, there is a feature to come: the S.I. coach. It is not open yet. When it is, it will be free in writing, and paid for voice, about $10 for an hour of coaching with the best voice and the best response times on the market.

The portrait, and what it can bring

I want to explain the portrait simply, because I do not come from this field myself. It is not something I had studied in depth before. I knew it existed, and I asked the super intelligence to gather possible information from the place, date, and time of birth.

These data are fixed. If a person was born in a certain place, on a certain date, at a certain time, certain positions are the same for them, and they have associated interpretations. The super intelligence gathers these elements, then analyzes them to bring out repetitions, strengths, recurring directions.

The result is a PDF booklet of about forty pages. I hope it can help someone discover themselves, or at least look at certain things about themselves differently. But I want to be very clear: take what you like, throw away the rest. It is not an order, it is not an imposed truth, it is a tool for personal reading.

The portrait arrives as a link. Whoever opens the link receives it, and this link can also be given to someone else. And in all cases, they are satisfied or refunded within 15 days.

Portraits offered to podium members

On October 6, 316 portraits were offered to 142 members. These are all the people who climbed onto a daily podium, the Splash or the Grand Splash, from the opening until October 4 inclusive.

Each person received at least one. Some received more because they climbed onto a podium several times. These portraits are a gift, to use for oneself or to give to someone around you.

They are available directly in the FreeWillWave store, behind the button "Receive my portraits". If you are one of the people concerned, the button is waiting for you.

I really like this idea: an action on the site can become something you receive, then something you can pass on. A gifted portrait can remain personal, or become a gift for someone else. And in both cases, it extends the Wave beyond a simple number.

Better explaining what we do

On October 8, the homepage and the "The principle" page were completely redone. You can see them here: the homepage and The principle.

This is important, because I think I had a lot of trouble explaining what I wanted to create. I also think that many people may not have understood what FreeWillWave is really trying to do. So I went back to basics: why this project exists, what it can bring to a human, and what it can bring to future generations.

A new block was also added on the homepage and on the Wave page. It leads to my story: "I failed at 98% of the goal". There you will find the audio in French and English, about eight minutes, and the text in the 15 languages.

This story is important because it puts the project back in its true place. FreeWillWave is not just a counter. It is not just a map. It is a very concrete attempt to give a chance to another reality: a reality where humans come first, and where enough people choose that for it to become visible.

In the recap of October 4, I already talked about the next phase to fund. Today, we are fully there. The question is no longer theoretical: either enough people help the project continue, or the project must protect itself by reducing what it does even further.

What I am living, and what I am trying to understand

My main problem is not the possibility of developing. I can build. I can improve. I can continue to look for solutions.

My main problem is my isolation. I almost never go out. I am in this office from morning to night. I take care of my father, and I am involved at 170% in the mission I have given myself: trying to understand how the world around me works, and how to create something better.

I asked myself a simple but heavy question: if we offer humans to finally be respected, to do good things for themselves, to join a more human direction, do they come? Or do some prefer to stay in disrespect, difficulty, suffering, because that is what they already know?

I am not saying this to judge. I know there are obstacles. Mental obstacles, habits, fears, ways of seeing the world that prevent understanding that another possibility exists. All this work also consists of discovering how complicated it is.

And in this story, there is a parameter that changes: my way of explaining. The more I advance, the more I understand that the way of presenting FreeWillWave is almost as important as FreeWillWave itself. If people do not understand what I want to create, they cannot freely decide to take part in it.

A story exists through those who bring it to life

Since the first day, I have been telling the story of FreeWillWave. Everything is noted, everything is archived, because I deeply believe that what is happening deserves to be preserved. Not just the numbers. The gestures.

A story does not exist because a site displays a counter. It exists because humans bring it to life. Those who invite, those who send their energy, those who support, those who buy, those who share, those who make FreeWillWave known around them: they are the characters of this story.

That is why I talk about them in the narrative. That is why I name them when I can do so without betraying their privacy. That is why I put them forward: not to create celebrities, but because a human story without visible humans quickly becomes an abstraction.

Today, I am looking for the next ones. The next humans who will bring the continuation to life. Those who will want to enter this story, each in their own way, with a support, a purchase, an invitation, a share, an energy, or simply a gesture that helps FreeWillWave continue.

The heroes we need

I am convinced that there are, in this world, people who want to give humanity a chance. People who can feel joy in lending a hand to this type of project. Not out of obligation. Not because pressure is put on them. Because they recognize something.

The people who will come forward now — through a support, a purchase, an invitation, a share, a useful contact, concrete help — I consider them my heroes, our heroes.

In the concept of FreeWillWave, when a person contributes to the group, the whole group benefits. If you manage to get 10 more people to take their place, those 10 people increase the number of our group for all of us. If someone supports, that support helps the tool that serves everyone. If someone buys a portrait, a T-shirt, or a mug, they receive something, and they also help FreeWillWave continue.

It is these small cumulative efforts that can make this reality a place where we live well, effortlessly, in abundance. Not a magical promise. A construction. One gesture after another, carried by different humans, each in their place.

On Sunday, I will publish the next weekly article, with its podcast and video. Until then, if you want to help FreeWillWave continue, you can support the project, buy a portrait, get the October edition of the T-shirt or mug, or simply show this story to someone who might understand it. See you Sunday.
